Is is proper ettiquette for a soccer coach to sit while coaching during the game?

Coaches may sit or stand as they like. As a referee, I love for coaches to remain seated!! Most here in the Atlanta area stand.

Seated is proper, standing does no good and blocks someone's view. When I coached I sat about 15 feet from the touchline and woe be the substitute or parent that blocked my view...

As you gain experience in this Game you'll find many differences between it and the games usually played in America.

I have no problems with a coach who sits during the game. In many ways, it shows confidence in their team and that they did their job during the week at practise. Then, once in a while they get up, say a word or two, or make an adjustment with their players, then sit back down. These are happy times....
