Question Number: 13252Kicks From The Penalty mark 7/1/2006RE: rec Under 19 Alex of phila, pennsylvania usa asks...Is it possible to get penalty kick for foul outside penalty box Answer provided by Referee Richard Dawson Hi Alex , it is impossible, under the laws of the game for a Pk to be awarded outside the penalty area. ONLY one of the ten penal fouls occuring INSIDE the offending player's penalty area will cause the ball to be spotted on the magic 12 yard spot for the PK. To do otherwise is a protestable situation! Cheers
