Question Number: 32490

Character, Attitude and Control 6/3/2018

RE: Rec Adult

Russell of Sydney, Australia asks...

This question is a follow up to question 32484

After all the discussion on the Benzema / Karius 'Blunderfull' goal " It was probably destiny that in one of my matches today, there was a moment where an attacker tried to hinder the keeper from releasing the ball as he attempted an over head throw pass out.

The attacker stepped left, then right, then left again mirroring the keepers movement.

The end result was an IDFK out, BUT NOT BEFORE watching to see if the pass out gave any quick break advantage.

None came, so back we went for the IDFK.

I always prefer a game to flow then be constantly pulled up, so the advise given in this thread in earlier discussions on the Bemzema / Karius moment was valuable.

The flow may not have eventuated (on this occasion), but the opportunity for it did " all because this site provided insights on what to think consider at any given moment.

Answer provided by Referee Richard Dawson

Cool, any response from the players on the pitch?
Cheers
