Question Number: 10108League Specific RE: High School sissy of moatsville, wv asks...when a player receives a red card how many games does that player have to sit out? Answer provided by Referee Chuck Fleischer In high school usually the ban begins at zero and goes up from there. NFHS recommends at least one but leaves it up to the conference for final determination. ..Regards,

Under appeal or protest cards can be revoked or increased to indefinate depending on the situation and the disciplinary commission's ruling. Many leagues have a 24 hour policy to meet and discuss such thiungs..Cheers
