Question Number: 2783

Appearance 11/30/2001

John Hanson of , Canada asks...

I am a newly certified referee and I was wondering what different companies make ref jerzeys and which ones are worth buying and which ones should i leave on the rack. also - what color of jerzy should i buy?..Thanks - John

Answer provided by Referee Victor Matheson 11/30/2001

I can't help you out with what our northern neighbors are wearing nowadays, but in the U.S. the primary jersey is a yellow jersey with black pin stripes. Many companies make decent jerseys but the top choice among U.S. referees is Official Sports which can be visited at www.officialsports.com.
