Law 5 - The Referee 1/16/2017

RE: Competive Under 15

oliver of sydney, nsw australia asks...

The following items summarise your powers and duties as a referee. However we got a bit carried away and included some items that are not in the Laws. Your task is to check Law 5 (and possibly other relevant Laws) to discover which items are part of your powers and duties and which are not.

Act on the advice of the AR regarding incidents you have not seen
Suspend or terminate the match because of outside interference
Stop the match to allow treatment of a player you believe to be seriously injured
Dismiss an AR for undue interference or improper conduct
Provide authorities with appropriate reports
Decide the result of a match by the toss of a coin

Answer provided by Referee Joe McHugh

Hi Oliver
These type of questions are set to encourage the reading and familiarisation with the Laws. Some are set as part of the referee certification and recertification process.
I think you could have a good shot at an answer knowing that there is only one of the statements that is incorrect and whether you as a player ever seen it happen.

The answer can be found in Law 5 of the Laws which can be viewed here
