RE: under 22 `s comp Adult

david latham of hobart, tasmania australia asks...

a team doesnt produce a team sheet to me and tells the referee they will supply one at half time they had players we had not seen before and at half time they changed the team again is this allowed and what should happen from this ???

Answer provided by Referee Keith Contarino

Wouldn't be allowed here in Georgia,USA. There has to be a roster of players before the game. At Select level of play, individual player passes have to be presented, also BEFORE the game. No pass, no play..I don't kow what the rules are where you live. There should be an authority you can contact.

I must agree with my colleague. This would not be allowed in Northern California, either. A roster must be produced prior to the start of play and players checked in from that roster. If a player is not present at the begining of the game but is on the roster and within the legal number of allowed players and substitutes he can check in during the match with the AR and still be considered able to play...Please check with your local organization to clarify rules for your area...Thanks for chscking with us. Good luck.

Same accross the ditch. The team should have a team card ready at least 30 mins before the game. It help prevents the problems that have arisen.
