Last night on ESPN they talked about caps the player earned. What were they talinng about?

Hi Alan,. Caps are the number of times you are chosen to play for your country. Cheers

AND, the reason they call them caps is that in the old days they used to actually give the players caps/hats each time they were chosen to play for their National team...Thanks for visiting our site.
