Question Number: 6102

Alan of , asks...

In regards to Q.6084..When the ref. mentions to the coach about keeping his parents, fans, and everyone there to support the team, under control, is this done on a one on basis, or is this mentioned to both coaches at the same time?

Answer provided by Referee Keith Contarino

One on one. Pregames with teams are always with one team at a time. I am always careful, however,to say the same things to each team. Usually I go over my pet peeves such as at substitutions, subs not waiting for the player to completely leave the field, and things like length of halves, when subs are allowed and the like.
