What is worse to watch, bad comedy or bad reffing?

Because the referee oversees the safety of the players, bad refereeeing is much worse because people can get injured. Mind you, there is another side of the question: what's harder, being a good stand-up comedian or a good referee. Both require ability, practice, and patience, and both require the person to perform under high pressure and in front of potentially hostile crowds.

What you consider bad is the very best the comedian or referee can do at the time. Sometimes spectators are difficult to satisfy.
