Question Number: 18342Law 5 - The Referee 2/6/2008RE: Rec Other Bradd Waggoner of Allen, Tx USA asks...This question is a follow up to question 18273 First off, I wanted to tell Kasey that he is not alone with this, I have pointed the wrong way at times. One thing I have done (and I discovered this while working indoor soccer) is IF both teams technical area's (The Bench) are on the same side, look at where the teams are in relation to what goal they are shooting at. If I see that the 1st half, the teams goal to shoot at is the same end of the field as their bench, I remember "Shooters benches". The 2nd half will be "Defending benches". then, If I get lost (Dyslexic, or what have you) I glance at the bench as I yell the team color and then I can point correctly. This has worked for me. Kasey, All the best!!! Answer provided by Referee Keith Contarino Good to hear from you Brad and thanks for the advice
