Question Number: 12185Law 7 - Match Duration 2/11/2006Gary Voshol of Royal Oak, MI USA asks...This question is a follow up to question 12167 Oops, Keith. Overtime periods certainly are still permissible, it's just golden goal (aka sudden death) that has gone by the wayside. Although a single 10-minute period as is implied in this question is a little strange ...
Back to another question, I'll revise my thinking on cautioning and then sending off a captain of a team that refuses to put a goalkeeper in net for a PK. If no one will play keeper, we can't play - that's all there is to it. Game terminated. (After sufficient warnings of the dire consequences, of course.) Answer provided by Referee Keith Contarino Hey Gary. My bad. when I read the question I assumed it was Golden Goal and should have stated that. Thanks for keeping me honest. I agree, no keeper, games abandoned
