Question Number: 14220Law 7 - Match Duration 10/22/2006RE: Competitive Under 17 Nicholas Page of New Westminster, BC Canada asks...Can the referee blow for time when a team is still on the attack and a corner is given by the linesman?
To what point is language tolerated at the u-16 level. This is parents, coaches and players using foul language.
If a referee does not show, and the coaches agree on one substituting as a referee, and he/she is ludicrously biased to one side can u call the game off? And is it an official match?
Answer provided by Referee Ben Mueller Yes. The game only needs to be extended for a pk. Most referees will allow attacking play to finish before blowing for the game to end.

When coaches agree to a match and then find the choice is a coach and not a referee they have just gotten what they paid for. They agreed to a match, the match stands. Remember, without referees there would be no football. This just reaffirms that statement.

View Referee Chuck Fleischer profileAnswer provided by Referee Keith Contarino 1. The match is over when the referee says it is. Referee is free to end the match at anytime. 2. Not at all from any of them. If players are using foul language they are to be at least cautioned and probebly sent off. Coaches are to be expelled from the field and it's surroundings. If parents are using foul language, deal with them as dictated by Canadian youth soccer regulations. In the US the coaches are responsible for parents behavior. We go to the coach and tell him/her that until the parent(s) are gone, we will not restart the match. 3. Who will call off the game? the one-sided referee?
