Question Number: 14945

League Specific 3/5/2007

RE: High School

Mark Torre of Fayetteville, GA USA asks...

Hi, I received a soft red last week in a match in Henry county. We were supposed to play the next day and the team never showed. Then my coach the next day talked to the Athletic Director of that school and set up a game on the following monday. When it came time to play that day they forfeited for the second time one hour before the game. Now because it was an Offical Forfeit does that count as my one game suspension?

Answer provided by Referee Chuck Fleischer

Only your league can answer that one! Sorry.

Regards,

Answer provided by Referee Richard Dawson

HI Mark,
It is a league decision as my colleagues indicated but in similar circumstances acting in a similar fashion a forfiet was counted as part of the suspension to our player who was suspended for 3 games for fighting. Cheers
