Question Number: 14988League Specific 3/15/2007RE: Middle School Under 14 Tanya of NYC, New York United States asks...If a trow in does not enter the field of play what happens??????? Answer provided by Referee Chuck Fleischer It all depends on whether or not you play using National Federation of State High School Associations Soccer rules or not. If so this is a improperly taken throw-in and goes over to the other side. Note: this applies to US High School Rules ONLY. The rest of the world thinks the restart didn't happen because the ball never entered the field of play, we try again.
Regards,
