how old do you have to be to ref or be a sidline ref.

USSF does not set forth a min age. State associations usally dictate this. In WI referees need to be 12 to be a level 9 (usually rec games and lines) and 14 to be a level 8 (U19 competitive games and below). Your best bet is to see your local assignor.
