Law 11 - Offside 4/28/2007

RE: Rec Under 13

BJ Bosche of Thurmont, MD United States asks...

Player B is offsides as Player A beats the last defender to the side of the field. Player A shoots before B can re-establish himself onsides. The goalie makes a play on the ball but it squits loose (wet coditions) to player B who shoots and scores....or does he?

Well, did the keeper catch the ball and drop it or did he slap it with no control. WIthout control, no goal

The offside player has gaind advantage from his offside position, he is prohibited from doing this by Law 11 - Offside.
