Question Number: 15468Law 12 - Fouls and Misconduct 5/13/2007RE: u-11 Under 13 donovan of troy, MI USA asks...if a kid slid tackled me what card would that be Answer provided by Referee Ben Mueller Depends here. Could be as little as no foul OR as serious as a send off (red card). If the slide tackler got you before the ball, then at minimum we have a foul. If the referee feels it was reckless, then a caution should be administered. If the referee felt the tackle endangered your safety or was done with excessive force, then a send off (red card) should be given to the tackler. It all depends on the nature of the offense.
