Question Number: 15536Law 3 - Number of Players 5/20/2007whistle of las palmas, spain asks...This question is a follow up to question 15515 yes... [15515]
but
Player 15 must to leave the field and then enter again(he entered without permiss), or can continue playing? Answer provided by Referee Chuck Fleischer In any case when a substitute plays from the beginning of the match and is found to be on the field without the referee's permission after he is cautioned he is removed from the field of play and then must seek permission to enter. Upon receiving that permission he must enter at the halfway line in accordance with Law 3. Once the procedure outlined on the Law has been complied with he is free to continue as a player. Note: if this is a second caution in the same match he is sent-off and shown the red card. Play is restarted appropriate to the nature of the stoppage in play.
