Law 11 - Offside 5/24/2007

David Donahue of Clarksville, TN USA asks...

In what did the offside rule change from three to two?

A few years back they changed law 12 in the any part of the body that can legally play the ball that is closest to the goal line dictates the position of the player. This was 2 years ago...I believe.
