Question Number: 15614Law 12 - Fouls and Misconduct 5/26/2007RE: rec Under 13 kurt pistorius of Centennial, CO 80015 asks...Can a goalkeeper kick the ball back into her box and pick it up? Answer provided by Referee Gary Voshol A goalkeeper can pick up the ball in her own penalty area if it played to her by the opponents, or if it is played to her by her teammates in any manner other than a deliberate kick. It matters not if she first receives the ball with her foot, either inside or outside the penalty area.
Since you don't tell us who played the ball to the keeper, we cannot give your question a definitive answer.
