Just a follow up to Chuck's answer, what would the sandpaper be used for?

Instead of refusing a metal tipped stud that's dangerous I hand the player my sand paper. I just won his support. We try to influence players in all sorts of ways.

Sarcastic ole me needs happy players who owe me something most of the time...

Hi Scott,
referee within the laws and provide a way that players can play within the law and viola respect for those laws is not pedantic at all! Cheers
