League Specific 7/28/2007

RE: Competive

Tom Greyling of ottawa, Canada asks...

hey guys, for the past 2 yrs i've been officiating house league up to age 14. the other night, i finally got my big call to ref a U11 competitive rep game.

i am very comfortable with doing this, but my only question is.. what do i do with the gamesheets? (we dont use them here for house league games).

how many should i receive and which ones do i give to other coaches? help please.

thanks

Congradulations on moving up to the next level.

Game sheets fall under the aegis of the league. I would suggest asking your assignor how they are handled. In my area, the sheets are a 3-part or 4-part form. The top copy is mailed to the league statistician (in a pre-paid envelope provided by the home coach) and each team gets one of the copies. In the league with the 4-part form, I keep one for my records.

This is up to the legue that you referee for. Make sure to find out before the next match. Game report sheets are VERY IMPORTANT.
