How many yellow cards can you receive in a season before you get a one match suspension at senior level.

That depends on the league. Some leagues as many as you can get while other leagues have a limit.

English Premiership it is five cautions before a certain date = a one match ban. Different leagues have different rules.

In the Central California Soccer League the number is three and a one match ban.
