Law 12 - Fouls and Misconduct 9/2/2007

RE: Competitive Under 16

Nick Chappell of Claremore, Ok USA asks...

If a player kicks the ball up to his/her head and then heads it back to the keeper, is that a yellow card or would it be just an IFK for the opposing team?

Answer provided by Referee Chuck Fleischer

Brace yourself Referee Nick... You are forbidden to accept any assignment as referee until you have opened your current Law book to page 27 [USSF version 2006/07 will do] and read International FA Board Decision #3.

Go get the book and Read now, please!

Does that answer your question Sir?
