Question Number: 16646Law 7 - Match Duration 9/11/2007RE: JV High School Tom Waypa of Hartland, mi usa asks...When is the soccer match over ?? We had a situation where the ball was in flight as the clock went to 0:00. As the ball came down it was headed into the goal. The call was no goal because time ran out. Is this correct. When is the match over ??
Thanks. Answer provided by Referee Ben Mueller In high school soccer it is the correct call. Time is up when it expires on the clock and if the ball is not fully past the goal line between the posts and under the cross bar...then its NO GOAL.

Hey, at least Varsity gets AR's this year, not the 3-whistle travesty.
