Question Number: 16777Law 7 - Match Duration 9/18/2007RE: All Under 19 Chelsea of Redmond, WA USA asks...When I was going through Referee training they taught us a mathematical method of how to determine the length of youth games. I don't normally center for them but I have to and I have no idea how long U10-U14 games go for! Thanks Answer provided by Referee Richard Dawson HI Chelsea, a mathmatical method? Fifa allows youth matches to be adjusted as to duration, it does not state to those who do adjust it the minimum required only the maximum 2 x 45 minutes. U-10 to u-14 could be as short as 2 x 25 or as long as 2 x 45 your league should have those specs. Cheers
