Answer provided by Referee Richard Dawson Hi Heather, is this a test question? Look in law 13
Indirect free kick to the attacking team:
? all opponents are at least 9.15 m (10 yds) from the ball until it is
in play, unless they are on their own goal line between the goalposts

View Referee Chuck Fleischer profileAnswer provided by Referee Keith Contarino Only at an IFK that has been awarded inside the penalty area and is closer to the goal than 10 yards. In that case the opponents may be on the goal line which will be closer that 10 yards. Or, if the referee refuses to enforce the 10 yard rule.
