Question Number: 16897Law 3 - Number of Players 9/25/2007RE: Amateur Adult luis of valley center, ca USA asks...i recently played a match that saw the oposition receive 5 red cards leaving them with only 6 players, below the minimum, who wins the game. the score was tied 2-2. i think we should win, isnt it considered a forfeit victory, or does the game remain tied Answer provided by Referee Debbie Hoelscher The referee does not determine the winner or loser of a match. They report to the league officials the time the game was terminated and the score at that time. That's all. The league decides what they will do from there.
