If the goalie steps out his 18 yard box and touches the ball with the hands, will that be a direct or indirect free kick

Javier, there are no boxes on the field, just areas, arcs and circles. If the goalkeeper uses his hands on the ball outside of the penalty area (the bigger "box") then he is guilty of deliberately handling the ball, and in your previous question you asked if that was direct or indirect. Do you recall the answer and why?
