RE: High School

kashif aman of bradford, yorkshire asks...

state two rules and explain why these are enforced?

Answer provided by Referee Richard Dawson

I dirty the dishes, I wash the dishes, otherwise I eat off dirty dishes!
My wife tells me the rule I say "I see". She asks if I understand I say "Right" She looks at me if I break the rule, I say "I'm SORRY?"
If you want to stay happily married these are the rules!
Cheers

I'll bite too. If you are in an airplane and the engine[s] quit the rule is gravity wins.

If you are in a boat with a hole in the bottom don't leave port because gravity wins again.

Answer provided by Referee Steve Montanino

State two is Pennsylvania and seeing as the Philidalphia Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers all play in that state I can assure it does NOT rule.

I am not aware that Pennsylvania is enforced.

Answer provided by Referee Michelle Maloney

I'm not nearly as clever as my colleagues, but rules of play are usually there to provide for orderly conduct of a game and to provide for the safety of the players. They should all be enforced to the degree the referee feels is necessary to give each team a fair chance to show their skills and play fairly. And, I suppose, if rules are not be enforced, why have them? Ah, I know the answer to that!
