Question Number: 17384Law 3 - Number of Players 10/18/2007RE: Pro Adult Timothy Mitchell of Chicago, Illinois United States asks...How many soccer players are on a team? Answer provided by Referee Richard Dawson Tim if you watch any regulation pro match you will count 22 plus one official on the field, 10 will be one colour 10 will be another colour and two more will be different again. Regular soccer is eleven aside one of which is the designated keeper. Mini soccer and youth matches or special tournaments often have 3 aside, 5 aside, 7 aside or 9 aside on shorter smaller fields with adjusted goal sizes. Cheers
