View Referee Gary Voshol profileAnswer provided by Referee Chuck Fleischer Advantage not realized and the infraction being whistled has been with The Game since 1997. This is allowing the referee to have his cake and eat it too. He can play advantage for two to three seconds and if the advantage he saw is not realized by that time he can return to the original offence at its original location and give the free kick.
