Question Number: 20145Law 7 - Match Duration 10/4/2008RE: Select Adult Vlad of Victoria, BC Canada asks...Night game...lights go out...when is a game considered official?...lights went out at the 70 minute mark...I beleive that after 60 minutes played the game is considered official...please quote specific law... Answer provided by Referee Keith Contarino There is no specific Law to quote as when a game becomes official has nothing to do with the referee or The Laws Of The Game. The referee will write a complete report including what happened and when. The report will go to the proper local authorities and then they will decide what happens next.
