Question Number: 22777Law 13 - Free Kicks 1/30/2010RE: competive Under 17 STEPHEN WHYTE of cork, ireland asks...when taking tipp are you aloud to take a shot without a second player touching the ball? Answer provided by Referee Joe McHugh Hi Stephen If you are referring to the kick off then a goal can be scored directly from the kick off with a direct shot on goal. On all kicked restarts the ball has to be touched by another player before the player can touch the ball again.
