Question Number: 18057Law 14 - Penalty kick 12/4/2007RE: Rec Under 19 Peter of Stockton, CA USA asks...This question is a follow up to question 17700 Hi
What would the restart be from this [17700]? I am guessing an IDFK, or a GK.
Cheers
Peter Answer provided by Referee Chuck Fleischer The restart all depends on when the referee intervenes. If the referee stops things before the penalty kick is taken then the restart of play is the same penalty kick. If the referee allows the kick to be taken then the restart of play if a goal is not scored is indirect free kick from the penalty mark or if a goal is scored the penalty kick is taken again.
Regards,
