Question Number: 12541League Specific 4/11/2006RE: High School PK of Atlanta, GA USA asks...What are the rules for High School when a player gets a red card and is suspended for subsequent games? Is he required to sit on the bench, dressed out, for the duration of the suspended match(es), or is he to not be on the sideline with the team at all?
Answer provided by Referee Chuck Fleischer High school rules do not address this. For me, in the stands in street clothes. He has shamed his team and during the length of any ban his team is without his talent, more shame.
Sit in the stands.

He should definately be at the game, but not participate in anyway on or near the field. That priviledge is for those deserving to be there. Whatever reason for the player's previous dismissal, he has lost his priviledge to be anywhere but in the stands.
