I relize that this is an American site. but how old do you have to be in Canada to become a ref ?

has a great intro to advise you and the number below will set you up with contact of the Ontario way of doing things.

12 years old

2. Experience ( minimum suggested games per 2 year period to achieve the designated level)
First step is to sign up for the course!

3. Game level suggested to be counted for advancement.
