Is it legal to advise the ref of a safety related issue during a game?

Personally, I want to know any and everything related to player safety but I don't know what you mean by your question. Are you asking is it all right to yell at the referee that there's a player down or someone is diabetic or has asthma? If you could be more specific I could offer a better answer

Safety is an important issue, the referee needs to know about anything that affects safety. Of course if your safety issues are related to how he decides regarding facts connected with play they'll fall on deaf ears. True safety issues must be addressed, opinions regarding performance do not.

Safety is the referees top priority. Thus the referee should be concerned and needs to know everything regarding safety. As long as you are not dissenting, insulting, or using abusive language towards a referee, it is not a problem
