Brendon Welsh of south salem, NY United States of America asks...

Can the Goalie of a team put the soccer ball in his shirt, while in the penalty box, and then run to the other nd of the field?

Answer provided by Referee Keith Contarino

No. This has been tried since the beginning of soccer and has been and always will be unsporting behavior. The other team is awarded an Indirect Free Kick from the spot where the referee stops play.

Answer provided by Referee Ben Mueller

No. This is unsporting behavior and a yellow card for keeper. Opposing team gets an IFK from the point where the keeper was standing when he put the ball under shirt.
