RE: Junior Varsity High School

Cheryl of Arcata, CA Humboldt asks...

Are there any rules about letting the high school varisty bench play down on the junior varsity team when there are more than enough players on the junior varsity team? This is a public school and the varsity players do not practice with the junior varsity team.

Answer provided by Referee Chuck Fleischer

The high school rules do not discuss that point Cheryl. Please contact your high school league administrators for a determination on this one.

Regards,

Depends on the state. In WI, I believe they can only suit up for x amount of games.
