Question Number: 13873Law 1- The Field 9/22/2006RE: select Under 13 Greg lunn of wakefield, west yorkshire england asks...on a 3/4 size pitcth what size should the goals be i belive it to be 3/4 size. in junior soccer a full size goal would give the home team the advantage Answer provided by Referee Chuck Fleischer It also gives the away side the same advantage at the other end of the pitch, does it not? Greg, goal sizes are something allowed to be changed by the International FA Board. Perhaps your county FA has written instructions concerning the recommended size.

View Referee Ben Mueller profileAnswer provided by Referee Keith Contarino I doubt there would be any advantage but if there was, it would be to the visiting team that had gotten used to shooting at a smaller goal. They would be more accurate and the larger goal would help them if anyone.
