Question Number: 14342League Specific 11/2/2006RE: Competitive High School Ed of Tokyo, Japan asks...Hi,
I know that a soccer field must be rectangular. But what is the standard size at the high school level?
My son's school is in the planning stages for rebuilding. The current field is 100 meters long. The new field is only going to be 75 meters long as now planned, and I believe, 50 meters wide. Is this acceptable for high school league soccer?
Regards, Ed Answer provided by Referee Ben Mueller The field needs to be longer than 75 meters.

a. High Schools - 110 yards by 65 yards
b. Junior High Schools - 100 yards by 55 yards
Again this is not the international standard it is the American high school rule and recommendations.
Regards,
