Goal posts can be any color as LOTG do not specify a color.

You're the AR, so you're off the hook - let the center make the decision. That's why he gets paid the big bucks. :-) You have AR's at U6 rec games? We don't even have refs, we let the coaches ref.

Yes, Law 1 says the goalposts and crossbar must be white. So if this was a pro game or an international, those posts would be white. If this was the State Cup, the goals would be white.

But maybe your local rec association decided to color-code their goals, so they didn't get the sizes mixed up when they put them out on the fields. Blue is U6, green is U8, etc. There's really no problem here. It doesn't give either team any advantage, they're just there to play some soccer and have some fun. Law 18 - Common Sense - trumps Law 1 in this situation.

Very simply, the goals are white. In junior Football they're going to play, regardless. It's a far different thing as we progress up the food chain.
