Question Number: 15547Kicks From The Penalty mark 5/21/2007RE: Adult Laura of Dublin, Ireland asks...In a penalty shoot-out, can you use different players in goal for each kick? For example, can the goalie stand in for the first kick, an outfield player take the gloves for the second and then the goalie for the third and so on? Answer provided by Referee Keith Contarino Yes. You may not substitute for the keeper unless he is injured but anyone eligible to take a kick during the kicks from the penalty mark phase, may also play in goal.
