Question Number: 15575Law 5 - The Referee 5/23/2007RE: Professional David Stewart of Belfast, Northern Ireland asks...I was asked recently what 10 things must a soccer referee bring onto the pitch prior to a match. I have thought of several but cannot get all 10. Can you help please?
What I have thought of so far: 1 Whistle 2 Spare whistle 3 Watch 4 Spare watch 5 Yellow card 6 Red card 7 Coin 8 Pencil 9 Notebook Answer provided by Referee Ben Mueller Several whistles, cards, pencil, pen, game sheet, watch, coin, spare watch, extra socks, extra shorts, warm ups, and a positive attitude. I know referees that bring extra balls, cones, and jerseys for a team to change into if need be. Oh yeah and SUN SCREEN.
