Douglas of Vine Grove, KY USA asks...On a high school team, does every player get to play and if not what are the rules about a high school player not playing and a 7th grader playing on the team instead? Answer provided by Referee Chuck Fleischer A player not skilled enough to compete at the level the coach wants sits, a player possessing the skills a coach desires plays. It's a simple thing. There is nothing other than what the coach wants to consider here.
