Unless the league has rules providing otherwise, the Laws of the Game say the game will be replayed.

View Referee Gary Voshol profileAnswer provided by Referee Chuck Fleischer Prior to 1997 International FA Board Decision (8) of Law I addressed this eventuality. It said roughly on a match played under the rules of a competition the match is abandoned unless the bar can be replaced with another. It also said on a friendly a rope could substitute provided the broken crossbar was entirely removed. the restart of play was a dropped ball in either case.
