View Referee Chuck Fleischer profileAnswer provided by Referee Gary Voshol I seem to remember a newspaper and/or Bernie S on TV reporting such a game with a score of 2-1. Whether that is a quirk of the media or a quirk of how MSHAA reports scores, I couldn't say.
In a FIFA/USSF game, the report would be as Ref Fleischer states. The short "box score" version would be something like
1:1 (x:y) 3:2
where x and y were the halftime scores. If overtime was played, the score at the end of the regular game time would also be noted, with initials a.e.t. which I think stands for "after elapsed time".
