If a player takes a long throw and it goes directly into the net, Is the goal legal?

A throw-in is like an indirect free kick in that it must be touched by another player before a goal can be counted. So, a throw-in that went directly into the goal will havea restart of a goal kick if the throw is into the opponent's goal, and a corner kick if into your own.

Hi Mick,
NO GOAL the ball must have a secondary touch be it from either team once the ball reenters play on the throw in to count as a legitamate goal. An unwise keeper reaches up to knock a thrown ball away rather than let it directly enter the goal for a goal kick instead has the ball tick his fingers and pass under the crossbar between the posts has presented the opposition with a good goal and now must kick off! oops!

A team cannot score directly from a throw-in, it must touch another player first.
